Nitrocarbo

Nitrocarbo is the CrN + WC / C coating deposited at a temperature below 200 ° C with a thickness between 2 and 5 µm (according to customer needs). The final DLC layer guarantees a low coefficient of friction and protection against adhesion wear. Nitrocarbo is deposited with PACVD technology and is suitable for coating mechanical components subjected to load and wear from friction.

All provided data are approximate values, depend on the application, environment and test conditions. Coating hardness HIT [GPa] measured by nano indentation according to ISO 14577. Hardness can be adapted to the application. Friction coefficient (dry) compared to the steel determined by ball-on-disc dry test with a steel sphere according to ASTM G99. During the running-in the indicated values may be exceeded. Maximum service temperature [° C] These are approximate values.

High hardness: protection against frictional wear, longer component life, lower production costs.
High thermal stability up to 300 ° C
- ideal for injection molding components
- eliminates corrosion problems
- suitable for automotive components and mechanical components subjected to frictional wear
- suitable for oil-free bearings
