dialong®-G is the ta-C DLC coating deposited at a temperature below 100 °C with a standard thickness of 0.5 µm. Cover coatings dialong®-G has an sp3 percentage (typical of natural diamond) of about 75% and a hardness of about 47 GPa (4800 HV). dialong®-G performs well for tools machining both non-ferrous and wood materials.  

Tools with diameters up to 200 mm and lengths up to approx. 500 mm can be coated with dialong®-G.

dialong®-G has proven effective on cutting tools for milling, drilling and reaming operations in non-ferrous materials and non-hardwood. Dialong®-G can be used on the following:
- aluminum alloys up to 10% Si
- some composite materials
- PMMA, epoxy resins
- various types of wood
