dianoir® G2

dianoir® G2, deposited in a dual process (ta-C + a-C), is a very homogeneous coating specially developed to highlight the aesthetic characteristics of the coated component. dianoir® G2 is thicker than standard ta-C coatings and is highly appreciated for its durability and UV resistance.

All data given are approximate values, depending on application, environment and test conditions. Coating hardness HIT [GPa] Measured by nano indentation according to ISO 14577. The hardness can be adapted to the application. Coefficient of friction (dry) versus steel determined by dry disc ball test with a steel ball according to ASTM G99. These values may be exceeded during run-in. Maximum service temperature [°C] These are approximate values.

dianoir®G2, which is particularly suitable for watchmaking components, has the following advantages:
- excellent adhesion on brass, stainless steel and titanium alloy components
homogeneous black colour
- non-toxic process and biological compatibility are optimal properties for using dianoir®G2 in contact with human skin
- corrosion and UV resistance
